We use Tapestry where I work, and being the build monkey I haven’t really been able to wrap my head around it yet. It seems like its component model is well designed, but for cases where developers need to go outside the box and do something the framework doesn’t provide for, it becomes a real mess very quickly.
Also, as stated in his comparison, if you’re at Tapestry 4 as we are, moving to 5 is a major porting effort.
